  • Author: Charlotte
  • Total Time: 35 minutes

Description

These candy bar blondies are the perfect way to use your leftover halloween chocolates! This recipe is easy to make and yields delicious chewy and fudgy blondies!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 3/4 cup (170g) unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup (200g) brown sugar
  • 1 egg (large)
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup (150g) all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1 cup halloween candy bars (ex: m&m’s, twix, mars, reese’s)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350F and line an 8×8 inch pan with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk your brown sugar into the melted butter. Once fully combined, mix in the egg and the vanilla extract. Careful not to over mix the batter at this step.
  3. Directly in the bowl, add the flour, baking powder and salt. Fold in the dry ingredients using a spatula.
  4. Mix in the chocolate bars and transfer the batter to the pan. Spread it evenly and bake for 24-26 minutes. The blondies will be a littler under-baked but will continue to bake as you let them cool in the pan.
