Picture this: it is Friday night, you are watching some “cheesy” Christmas movie, it is snowing outside (and suddenly you are craving something warm and sweet that will be quick to prepare (basically my current situation). That’s when my apple crumble recipe comes in! Warm apples topped with a perfect golden crumble crust.
This apple crumble takes only 10 minutes to prepare before baking for 20 minutes in the oven. It is perfect to eat right away while warm and topped with a scoop of vanilla ice cream perhaps (or salted caramel! or both actually!)
This recipe is for two individual apple crumble but you could easily double it or triple it. I made the recipe for only two servings because I, personally, often have sweet cravings but do not want to spend hours in the kitchen or have leftovers for days (cookies being the exception obviously!). Plus, only one serving (there’s two of us in this house so one serving each) means I satisfy my craving but don’t over indulge by eating 4 servings, because yes this is totally something I would do 🙃
Anyways, I hope you are all having a great Friday evening! If you are reading this and have apples on your counter, go make some apple crumble! And if you do, don’t forget to leave a comment below or share a picture on instagram with the tag @mapleetchocolat and/or use #mapleetchocolat 🙂
Have a good week-end friends!
