This no churn oreo dulce de leche ice cream is incredibly easy to make! With only 4 ingredients you obtain a creamy ice cream loaded with oreos for some chocolate crunch and dulce de leche swirls for indulgent caramel-y flavours. So good!
July might be one of the best month of the year, A.K.A. ice cream month!! I am a big fan of ice cream and will eat it no matter what the weather is outside. But now that Summer is here and that it’s been crazy hot out, my ice cream cravings are off the charts. So for the first time, I decided to tackle homemade ice cream!
I really didn’t want to spend money on another appliance (ie. ice cream machine) and even if I did I would have a little storage issue (hi small kitchen/apartment/all the kitchen stuff overflowing our cabinets and closets). No churn ice cream was the solution to my never ending ice cream cravings. It is incredibly easy to make no churn ice cream and only takes 10 minutes! Plus you can really flavour it any way you want once you know your two main ingredients.
Today, I decided to share with you my oreo dulce de leche ice cream. These two are a match made in heaven and make this ice cream seriously addicting! This no churn ice cream is loaded with lots of oreo chunks and delicious dulce de leche swirls. It is also creamy and rich and an amazing replacement to store-bought ice cream.
WHAT INGREDIENTS DO YOU NEED TO MAKE THIS EASY NO CHURN OREO ICE CREAM?
This recipe is so simple and only requires 4 ingredients:
- Whipping cream
- Sweetened condensed milk
- Oreos
- Dulce de leche
The two main ingredients are the whipping cream and sweetened condensed milk. Together, they make your no churn ice cream base. By whipping the cream, you incorporate air and the condensed milk acts as your “custard”.
The flavouring of this recipe mainly comes from the add-ins: oreos and dulce de leche. I’ve honestly been all about oreos lately which is why I wanted oreo ice cream! I love all the little bits in the ice cream and the larger chunks too for a little bit of crunch. The dulce de leche adds some creamy caramel-y notes to the ice cream and just takes it up a notch. Trust me it’s DELICIOUS.
HOW TO MAKE NO CHURN OREO DULCE DE LECHE ICE CREAM?
Making no churn ice cream only takes 10 minutes! The hardest part is waiting for the ice cream to freeze.
First, place your oreos in a ziploc bag and crush them using a rolling pin (you could also use a food processor but the smashing/crushing with the rolling pin is actually quite therapeutic!) Try to have various sizes of chunks. Then, whip your cream in a cold bowl until you obtain stiff peaks. Fold in the sweetened condensed milk. Once fully incorporated, add the oreos, followed by the dulce de leche. Try not to do more than 3 to 4 folds with the dulce de leche so you get nice swirls.
Pour the mixture into a freezer friendly airtight container and freeze for a minimum of 6 hours, but ideally overnight.

- Total Time: 6 hours 10 minutes
- Yield: 10 1x
Description
This no churn ice cream is loaded with oreos and dulce de leche for pure indulgence with every bite! This recipe is simple – it only requires 4 ingredients and is ready in 10 minutes!
Ingredients
- 2 cups whipping cream
- 200ml sweetened condensed milk
- 1/2 cup (118ml) dulce de leche
- 20 oreos
Instructions
- In a large ziploc bag place the oreos and crush them using a rolling pin. Try to obtain a mix of tiny piece and larger chunks. Set them aside.
- Pour the whipping cream in a cold bowl and whip with your electric mixer or stand-up mixer until you obtain stiff peaks (be careful to not over whip).
- Add the sweetened condensed milk to the whipped cream and gently fold it in.
- Mix in your oreos. Pour the dulce de leche into the mixture and only do 3-4 folds to make sure it swirls and doesn’t blend in.
- Transfer the ice cream to a freezer friendly airtight container and let the ice cream freeze for at least 6 hours (or ideally 12 hours).
Notes
Tip: cream whips better when cold so keep it in the fridge until you are ready. You can also place your bowl and whisk in the fridge for a few minutes before you start making the ice cream.
If you don’t have an airtight container that can go in the freezer, you can also pour the ice cream mixture into a loaf pan and cover with plastic wrap.
