The chocolate lover I am often needs a chocolatey bite after a meal or in the afternoon for a little snack. However, what I don’t like is all the added sugar in my favourite chocolate treats… So I make my own healthy peanut butter cups!
These peanut butter cups are made with only 4 ingredients! Yup, you read that right! You’ll need some chocolate (dairy-free if you want to make these vegan), coconut oil, natural peanut butter and pure maple syrup. That’s it! I bet you already have all these ingredients in your pantry, so you could make them ASAP. Just saying 😉
You can easily make a double batch of peanut butter cups so you have some in your freezer/fridge ready to be grabbed for a little while (and if they don’t last long, I promise I won’t judge!)
My boyfriend and I love these little treats and even though the peanut butter can get a little messy while eating them, I enjoy every single bite! So yes, these are not a copy-cat of Reese’s because the peanut butter will be a little bit runny but that’s what makes them even better! (Ok I might be a little bias here but I guess you’ll just have to try them to judge by yourself.)

C’est une très bonne idée! J’essayerai peut-être de lancer ça en 2019! 😊

I just tried these with cashew butter instead of peanut butter and made mini cups and they turned out so well! I also added a bit of pink Himalayan sea salt on top which made it even better. So simple yet so delicious.
